  Nora Schott
Dancer, Choreographer

Born in Dresden in 1980. Studied dance and choreography at the Palucca Schule Dresden—Hochschule für Tanz. She received a stipendium—the Förderung für Meisterschülerinnen—from the Sächsisches Ministerium für Wissenschaft und Kunst and a scholarship to study abroad from the Kulturstiftung Dresden der Dresdner Bank. As a choreographer she is active primarily in Dresden, where in spring 2003 a work she choreographed, 6, was premiered; she was also active in Brunswick (mono) and Ljubjana (the game). As part of the festival TANZherbst she produced, in cooperation with tristan production, her choreographies hard candy (in collaboration with Anne Retzlaff), PINK, and Das Ziel and showed Schnittblumen. Many of her works have been performed at guest performances in Germany and abroad. She has danced in Wodka Kola, Küstennebel, and most by Anne Retzlaff and in Katrin Wolfram’s Die Anderen. Nora Schott is working together with the artists’ association shot AG in TENZA ®-Schmiede, a permanent residence and production space. In November 2005 she participated in Schieß nicht auf fremde Röckchen at the Forum Neues Musiktheater.
