Claudia Neubert was born in Berlin in 1976. She began studying technological environmental protection at the Technische Universität Berlin before switching to vocal studies in 2001 at the Universität der Künste Berlin under Prof. Harald Stamm and Prof. Siegfried Lorenz. There she participated in a production of Janáceks Osud as Mila’s mother and in Wolfgang Rihm’s Eroberung von Mexiko as Montezuma. She has won prizes in the competitions Jugend musiziert and Gesang Berlin. In 2003 she had a grant from the Theatre National de Luxembourg. In 2004 she participated in Voyeur at the Forum Neues Musiktheater.
