In 1983 he worked closely with Karlheinz Stockhausen, and that has since been followed by lively concert activity as a soloist with renowned orchestras and ensembles at all the large international music festivals and on television and radio. His repertoire includes nearly the entire literature for trombone, from the earliest works to experimental contemporary compositions, including chamber music and jazz. At the Forum Neues Musiktheater he performed in 2003 in Im Spiegel wohnen and in 2006 in Il cielo sulla terra.
