Teodoro Anzellotti has received many prizes in international competitions, is an innovator in accordion technique, and has had a decisive influence on contemporary music for accordion. He has performed at all of the important venues for New Music. He teaches at the Hochschule für Musik und Theater des Kantons Bern, and has been a lecturer at the Darmstadt Summer Courses since 1992. In 2003 he participated in Im Spiegel wohnen at the Forum Neues Musiktheater.
