Christiane Neudecker studied at the Hochschule für Schauspielkunst Ernst Busch from 1996 to 2001 and received her diploma as a stage director. She has staged performances with the studiotheater Berlin, Kleisttheater Frankfurt/Oder, and the Shakespeare Company Bremen, among others; siince 2001 she has collaborated with Sven Sören Beyer. Publications in literary journals such as Prairie Schooner in New York, Macondo, Wortlaut, eDIT; she received the Fränkischer Literaturpreis in 2000 and 2004; in spring 2003 she had a reading at the FORUM Neue Deutsche Literatur / Buchmesse Leipzig; in summer 2003 she received a stipend for the Klagenfurter Literaturkurs; In 2003 she received the Alfred-Gesswein-Preis; in 2003 she participated in an authors’ group at the LCB (Literarisches Colloquium Berlin) under the direction of Ulli Janetzki. She is represented by Eggers Landwehr. In 2004 she participated in Delusions at the Forum Neues Musiktheater.
