Lydia Klement
Dancer, Choreographer
Lydia Klement is a solo dancer and choreographer. She was educated in Dresden, Berlin, and New York. Since 1999 she has collaborated intensely with Markus Hauke and Sven Sören Beyer in phase7. Engagements include Fatal Attraction, C. Winkler, Tanzfestival Potsdam; Zukunft der Arbeit, Frederic Flamand Expo Hannover; Die wilden Kerle, Tristan Productions Dresden; Sheik Yerbouti, I. Reulecke Berlin/Rostock, Tanzplattform München; she has choreographed, among other things, the Eröffnung des Wissenschaftssommers 2001–2003 (Kraftzentrale Duisburg) on the theme “marginal worlds” as a real-time 3D staging in which she also appeared as the lead soloist. In 2004 she participated in Delusions at the Forum Neues Musiktheater.
