  Jean-Pierre Collot
Pianist

Born in Metz. Studied with Jean-Claude Pennetier, Christian Ivaldi, and Jean Koerner at the CNSM in Paris and graduated with three first prizes in piano, chamber music, and piano accompaniment. His primary focus is twentieth-century music, with a special interest in Stockhausen, Messiaen, and Cage. As a soloist, he has performed with noted Paris ensembles, including Ensemble Intercontemporain (1993–1999), TM+ (beginning in 1997), and Ensemble Fa (of which he was a member from 1994–2002 ). Collot has premiered the works of numerous composers, including Jean Luc Hervé and Brice Pauset. Member of ensemble recherche since September 1, 2003. In 2004 Infinito nero at the Forum Neues Musiktheater.
