Mark Lorenz Kysela studied saxophone at the Hochschule für Musik und Darstellende Kunst Frankfurt am Main in Achim Rinke’s class and in Bordeaux with Marie-Bernadette Charrier and Jean-Marie Londeix. He performs for the Radiosinfonieorchester Stuttgart, the Staatsorchester Stuttgart, and the Badische Staatskapelle Karlsruhe. Performing with electronics, as a DJ, and as a musician, he works in the areas of new and experimental music with, among others, the Loop Tanzperformance company in Munich and with Daniel Gloger, Claudia Senoner, Nikola Lutz, and Oliver Prechtl as Superplus & Aldiweil. In 2006 he participated in Schöner Götterfunken! Bilder einer Ausstellung einer Ausstellung of the NewMediaPocketOpera project at the Forum Neues Musiktheater on the occasion of ISCM World New Music Festival 2006.
