Clare has been working as a sound engineer since 1985, and freelancing with a special interest in the ‘new music’ field since 1996. Having studied music and composition at La Trobe University in Melbourne and electronics at The Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology she moved to the Netherlands in 1998. She has, and continues to work for various composers, including Michel van der Aa and Yannis Kyriakides, and collaborates regularly with ensembles such as ASKO Schönberg and the MAE. In 2006 sound engineer for the German Premiere of An Index of Metals by Fausto Romitelli at Forum Neues Musiktheater on the occasion of the ISCM World New Music Festival 2006.
