Olivier Pasquet
Live Electronic Designer
Olivier Pasquet taught himself composition and computer music and worked in various recording studios. During his studies at Cambridge University he expanded his skills by studying electroacoustic composition. There he also organized various events and concerts. He was responsible for the electronic interpretation of electroacoustic pieces. From 1999 to 2004 he worked at IRCAM (Institut de Recherche et Coordination Acoustique/Musique) in Paris, where he assisted composers in realizing their projects using computers and electroacoustics. Since then he has dedicated himself to composition and the electroacoustic realization of works by various artists from the world of digital art. He himself composers pure electronic or mixed pieces using interactive systems in real time. In 2006 he has been a lecturer in the Max/MSP/Jitter Workshop and sound designer for Il cielo sulla terra at the Forum Neues Musiktheater.
