Claudius Brodmann completed his studies at the Filmakademie Baden-Württemberg in 1999 with a major in animation and digital visual design and founded the animation and postproduction studio M.A.R.K.13. He has directed numerous animated films and shorts, for Expo 2000 and the Deutscher Sport Bund, among others. Brodmann is guest lecturer at the Filmakademie Baden-Württemberg and the Merz-Akademie, Hochschule für Gestaltung, Stuttgart. In 2006 he did the video design for Il cielo sulla terra at Forum Neues Musiktheater.
