Kristian Metzner studied opera singing at the Richard Strauss Konservatorium in Munich. There after he performed with the opera choir at the Staatstheater Gärtnerplatz. Since 1986 Kristian Metzner is a member of the choir of the Staatsoper Stuttgart. Guest performances of Bernd Alois Zimmermann’s Die Soldaten brought him to Leningrad and Moscow with the choir of the Stuttgarter Oper in 1989. 2006 in fremd at Forum Neues Musiktheater.
