Henrik Czerny studied singing at the Hochschule für Musik Hanns Eisler in Berlin and at the Staatsoper Berlin with Prof. Heinz Reeh. In 1990 he was engaged as a soloist at the Stadttheater Senftenberg for, among other roles, Don Giovanni (Don Giovanni), Father Crespel (Hänsel und Gretel), Sid (Albert Herring), Guglielmo (Così fan tutte), Armida (L’Ormindo). Since 1994 he is a member of the choir of the Staatsoper Stuttgart as first bass. 2006 in fremd at Forum Neues Musiktheater.
