  Daniel Kaleta

Daniel Kaleta is from Poland and completed a degree in engineering in Kraków before switching to the conservatory in Kraków and then continuing his studies in Karlsruhe with Aldo Baldin in 1989. While still a student he received awards in Poland and prizes at the Internationaler Bachwettbewerb in Leipzig (including one for the best interpretation of a Bach solo cantata). Daniel Kaleta has given many concerts throughout Europe, including with the Süddeutsches Vokalensemble, the Hessisches Kammerorchester, and the Radio Symphony Orchestra Katowice. On the stage he has sung Bartolo in The Marriage of Figaro. In addition to recordings for Polish Radio he has recorded a CD for DA Musik. Daniel Kaleta has performed chamber music with the early music ensembles the Bornus Consort and Ars Nova. From 1988 to 1992 he taught at the conservatory in Kraków. 2006 in fremd at the Forum Neues Musiktheater.
