Steffen Balbach studied church music at the Hochschule für Kirchenmusik in Esslingen and singing at the Musikhochschule Freiburg with Markus Goritzki. From 1999 to 2002 he was cantor at the Christuskirche in Donaueschingen. He is active as a concert singer in many places. Since 2002 Steffen Balbach a member of the choir of the Staatsoper Stuttgart. 2006 in fremd at Forum Neues Musiktheater.
