  Johannes Schütt
Musician, Composer (ICST)

Acquired a diploma as a clarinettist at the Winterthur Conservatory in 1984. Concerts, recordings for radio, TV and sound carriers. Has been teaching the clarinet at the Kantonsschule and the Conservatory in Schaffhausen from 1984-2005. Further education in composition under Klaus Cornell, David Angel, and in computer music under Gerald Bennett at the Zurich School of Music, Drama and Dance (SMD). A member of the Composer’s College of the Swiss Centre for Computer Music since 1994.
The work of Johannes Schütt encompasses compositions for ensembles, incidental music and experimental films, as well as sound installations, compositions for tape and live electronic. Publication: Vietnam, CD for the illustrated book of the same name.
Specialises in the Ambisonic techniques of three-dimensional sound projection.
Member of the research group Ambisonic at the SMD Zurich.
Teaching position at the Zurich School of Music, Drama and Dance (SMD) and the Zurich School of Art and Design (HGKZ) in Zurich.
In January 2006 workshop on Ambisonics at Forum Neues Musiktheater.
