At the world premiere of fremd - an opus by Hans Thomalla and the 2nd part of a larger composition in five scenes on the topic of “Medea” - the FNM is hosting two studios on the premises of the Römerkastell. The studios provide an insight into the producing of fremd. Presentations and discussions on the staging will take place in Sebastian Hannak’s stage design settings, taking into consideration the aspects of composition, direction and set design. Invitees are all persons interested. In Studio 1 on fremd the composition’s material will be presented and hearing samples from the performance are going to be introduced. The composer Hans Thomalla will elucidate the structure of his composition as well as the various materials expanded into his music. Furthermore he’s going to give an outlook on the other four parts of his composition on the theme of “Medea”. The studios will be mastered by members of the production team.
