You, the ones faithfully supporting us during all this time, are hereby warmly invited to our farewell concert and party afterwards. All the artists that will be leading you through this evening have been implicated in the Forum’s activities and it’s productions during the last three years. Internationally renowned experts for live electronics and sound technologies they equally accompanied the composers - both as advisors and participants. They have also presented the latest technologies within the scope of the Forum’s workshops. These associates and friends of the Forum are all active artists themselves and will be presenting their own work, perhaps not without humour and a twinkling eye. The FNM owes it’s existence to the initiative of Klaus Zehelein, the Stuttgart State Opera’s distinguished general director and Andreas Breitscheid and was conceived as an “Opera Laboratory”. The FNM is proud to look back on three successful years of working in the fields of the experimentation and development of new approaches for the music theatre in the 21st century, establishing itself, at the same time on the international New Media and Music Theatre scene. The FNM created countless music theatre projects, concerts, perfomances, workshops as well as many artistic presentations. And it was with the generous support and patronage of the Landesstiftung Baden-Württemberg and the Landesbank Baden-Württemberg that this idea became reality. Dear public, dear partners and friends: at this point we would like to sincerely thank you all for your confidence and companionship through these years and for your contribution to our success! We would be exceedingly pleased to welcome you one last time!
